Here is the announcement of my upcoming residency:

We are delighted to announce that curator and cultural producer Eleni Riga is traveling to Buenos Aires, Argentina, for the curatorial exchange and residency program between ARTWORKS and BIENALSUR! 🇦🇷🤝🇬🇷

Based in Athens, Greece, Eleni’s practice explores the intersections of ecologies and feminisms, with a specific focus on water and body politics. During her residency, she will expand her ongoing investigation into ecofeminist perspectives on the Mediterranean Sea as an embodied and critical geography. She will be engaging deeply with artistic practices, situated knowledge, and environmental imaginaries emerging from Argentina’s unique political and ecological contexts.

🌍ARTWORKS runs its curatorial residency program through these international exchanges, believing that deeply rooted, two-way partnerships are vital for building sustainable dialogue and mutual growth across global art communities. Through this cross-regional bridge, Eleni will foster vital conversations on the relationships between water, territory, gender, and collective futures across the Mediterranean and South American regions. ✨
