Eleni Riga is a curator and cultural producer based in Athens, working across the Mediterranean and beyond. Her practice weaves ecofeminisms and water politics into lived and critical geographies, often immersing herself—whether by diving or hiking—alongside the artists she collaborates with. With a background spanning documenta 14, Eleusis – European Capital of Culture, MoMA, exhibitions at Friart, Fribourg or BO, Oslo as well as independent initiatives, Eleni brings a holistic understanding of art to each project. She is Guest Curator at ATOPOS cvc with the Office of Hydrocommons program, where she continues to shape conversations around feminisms, ecologies and collective futures. She is also artist and institutions liaison at Callirrhoë, Athens. Currently, she is laureate of the residency program Institut français x Cité internationale des arts.
